Bridge Technologies, developers of the first complete satellite-to-set-top box monitoring solution for IPTV operators, have announced that Tor Karstensen has joined the company as marketing and design executive. Karstensen will assume overall responsibility for the visual identity and branding of Bridge Technologies.
Karstensen has a deep and wide-ranging base of experience in visual branding and online presence development for clients including Sun Microsystems, Deloitte, and Glaxo SmithKline, and has founded two cross-media communications companies. He has also worked as a content developer in the Second Life virtual world platform.
“Tor’s experience and flair is an important asset for the company,” said Simen K. Frostad, chairman of Bridge Technologies. “We’ve always given a high priority to both branding and the visual communication of our concepts and technologies, and we regard it as an important tool in our market strategies. Tor has already contributed much to our identity as a consultant, and now we’re pleased to have him in a bigger role.”
“It’s very stimulating to work with a company as forward-thinking as Bridge Technologies,” Karstensen added. “They are extremely smart people and have a significant lead in the market. I’m really excited about helping to communicate the company’s message to a rapidly growing audience.”
