NEWS/VideoBRIDGE IP-PROBES software v2.0 (Oslo, Norway - 9th March´2007) Available immediately for existing customers and shipping with all VideoBRIDGE IP-PROBES is software version 2.0 containing an array of new features and an updated user interface. Just to mention some of the new features we now have: full support and implementation of IGMP v3; full support for 802.1Q Vlan tagging; advanced Threshold settings for alarming. The VideoBRIDGE IP-PROBES are used in over 300 installations worldwide. The probes are amongst the most deployed video over IP confidence monitoring and analysis tools in the world. The VideoBRIDGE IP-PROBE range consist of two portable probes: the VB10 and VB20, as well as the rack mount VB200 chassis with the capability of monitoring 540 IP services in a 1 RU. No other probe in the industry has this level of high density monitoring. Also released is the VBC - VideoBRIDGE Controller Server software version 3.0. It introduces the innovative MicroTimeline™ interface which provides status-at-a-glance of a complete 4-day history view for up to 400 channels. The VBC also contains updates on all major functions and an advanced SNMP trap forwarding engine. The VBC server greatly enhances the IP-PROBES by supplying correlation and aggregation features for alarm-storm avoidance and statistics gathering.
